Hotel Il Palazzo instantly won the hearts of my whole family. The buffet meals, served from 11 AM to 9 PM, offered a great selection and were absolutely delicious, with impeccable service throughout. Given the price, it’s an amazing bargain for the quality and service provided. The hotel is incredibly stylish and artistic, with beautiful details, vibrant colors, and thoughtful design—everything from the round-shaped lamp at room level to the chocolate box, coffee bag, and coaster was perfectly designed and crafted. The bathroom is great, with a bathtub, and the sliding door between the room hallway and bedroom serves as a perfect divider for added privacy. It felt like staying in an art museum, which truly elevated the experience. The location is great, tucked away in a quiet alley yet right in the heart of a bustling area. I’ll definitely come back—this is the only place I would stay in Fukuoka in the future. Highly recommend!

ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING!!! We stayed at this hotel for one night to visit Fukuoka Christmas market yo celebrate our wedding anniversary and we were so glad we had decided to stay here! First of all, the building and interior were very unique and interesting compare to other typical hotels in the area. The staff were very polite and helpful. Special thanks to Mr. Taro, the general manager, who was actually physically present and working with the team! He was so elegant, kind, and very thoughtful and made our anniversary even more special:)! The dinning option was excellent and we really felt like we were well fed. We especially enjoyed dessert section. The hotel is very modern and so clean. The bed was large and very comfortable(not like most Japanese hotel beds which are small and firm.). We very highly recommend this hotel and are looking forward to our next visit:)!

Location was great, situated between Hakata and Tenjin, two major shopping districts. It was easy for us to walk to the shopping areas and drop our shopping bags back at the hotel when we were tired. Only bone to pick is that it is a short 7-min walk to the nearest train station, which may be a tad far if carrying many heavy luggages. Hotel provided complimentary buffet breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. The spread was amazing and food tasted really good. Staff was helpful when we needed to call a cab, and was prompt in seating us for our meals. Staff always made us feel welcome. Facilities and amenities were good. There was also a humidifier in the room that was really helpful in maintaining moisture levels in the room.

Well, this hotel is a piece of art, its design is outstanding! We loved the look outside, we appreciated the entrance, we admired the small lobby and we enjoyed the room for dinner (and breakfast). A paradise for aesthetes. Really! And the best: Using the buffet is somehow for free. If you stay in the hotel, you can for example have dinner there - it's included. And the food is great, the breakfast delicious! And the rooms and the location are also very good. (We were so unhappy that we had to leave earlier because of typhoon Shanshan... and btw we are still waiting for a confirmation of the hotel that we had to leave earlier as foreseen for our insurance.)

This was the best hotel I have stayed in thus far. It was immaculate. The staff were amazing and we were treated like royalty. The room was so big and so clean. The bath was huge. Bed was super comfy and it was great to be able to log in to my own streaming services at night after a long day of sightseeing. Top of the range equipment in the room. Location was great and easy to get to everything and public transport was close by. Buffet was available all day from 7am until 9pm (closed for change over between about 10:55-11:15am). From 11:15the desserts are AMAZING!!!!!!!! Overall it definitely felt more like a 5 star hotel.
